The MRRC's Magnet Hall, within the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, was featured in a promotional video for the University of Cambridge (0:36):

The Bakerian lecture is the Royal Society's premier lecture in the physical sciences. It is delivered annually at the Royal Society in London.

Lynn was awarded the 2014 Bakerian Lecture for her work in the development of magnetic resonance techniques to study multi-component adsorption, diffusion, flow and reaction processes.

Watch her lecture below:

Mick presented a talk at a two day conference at Cardiff University entitled ‘A spin thro’ the history of restricted diffusion MR’ on January 31st and February 1st 2017. In it, he discussed some of the work carried out within the MRRC using diffusion magnetic resonance in pharmaceutical and chemical reaction engineering research.
