The Magnetic Resonance Research Centre (MRRC) is based within the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, at the University of Cambridge.

Our research focuses on the application of magnetic resonance to an ever-increasing range of research problems. Typical applications include catalysis, contaminant hydrology, structure-processing relationships in materials such as foods and pharmaceuticals, and multi-phase flow in porous materials.

The group has numerous high- and low-field spectrometers, a fast-field cycling spectrometer, as well as custom-built reaction rigs, which are split across two buildings on the West Cambridge Site.

For more details of our research, please see the Publications page.
